A 12-year-old boy was raped by an unknown assailant in Ra'anana on Wednesday night, it was reported on Thursday. The boy, a seventh-grader, was attacked after he arrived home on his bicycle and opened the door of the storage room in his apartment building. The man surprised him, covered his mouth, pulled him inside the storage room and sodomized him, then fled. The boy's parents called the police, and the boy was taken for tests. Police were still searching for the perpetrator.
