Rafi Eitan vows to work for Pollard's release

Pensioners Minister Rafi Eitan said Monday that despite the recent criticism leveled at him by Jonathan Pollard, he would do all in his power to assure the release of the convicted Israeli spy, who is serving a life sentence in a US prison. In an interview to Israel Radio, Eitan denied that he would be meeting with Cuban President Fidel Castro during his upcoming visit to Cuba with Chief Rabbi Meir Lau. Eitan said that the purpose of his trip was to arrange personal business matters.
