A 30-year old woman died Monday evening after being stabbed in the stomach at her doorstep by an unknown assailant in Ramat Hasharon.
The assailant disappeared from the scene immediately following the incident.
An MDA ambulance rushed the victim to Beilinson Hospital in critical condition, where she later died on the operating table.
Police were investigating the incident, and suspected that the stabber may have intended to rob the woman's home, Israel Radio reported.
