Ramon: Hamas is in constant violation of the cease-fire deal

Hamas continues to violate the cease-fire agreement with Israel by not living up to any of its obligations, and Israel must reassess its position accordingly, Vice-premier Haim Ramon said on Sunday. "Hamas is breaking the agreement, increasing the range and the number of missiles in their possession. Every so often it allowing rocket fire, and cells are leaving from Gaza to carry out attacks in Israel and the Sinai," the vice-premier said following a briefing by the Research Division of Military Intelligence. "Despite the predictions which were given to the government, [the organization's] stance has become even more extreme regarding the negotiations for [kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl.] Gilad Schalit."
