Report: Friedmann held secret meeting with Ramon

Newly appointed Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann held a secret meeting with his predecessor Haim Ramon at an office in Tel Aviv on Thursday afternoon, Channel 2 reported on Friday morning. The meeting, conducted at 5.30 p.m., took place in Ramon's private office owned by Efraim Conda, who is the brother of Ramon's former wife. Conda's daughter participated in the reenactment in Ramon's trial in which the former justice minister was convicted of forcefully kissing a female soldier. In response to the report, Friedman's spokesmen said that it was merely one in a series of routine meetings he had conducted with former justice ministers."
