The IDF is phoning Palestinian fugitives to warn them get their families out first before hitting their houses, Palestinians sources reported on Wednesday night.
The IDF usually describes the structures as weapons storage facilities.
Other similar tactics previously used are leaflets dropped from aircraft and IDF broadcasts over radio frequencies used by Hamas, warning residents to distance themselves from the operatives.
The IDF has said in the past that the measures are taken to reduce civilian casualties.
