According to a Channel 10 report Wednesday evening, Defense Minister and Labor Party Chairman Amir Peretz is considering leaving his post as defense minister.
The reason, according to the report, was former prime minister Ehud Barak's recent success, since announcing his decision to run for the Labor leadership earlier this week, in solidifying support within the Labor Party to replace him [Peretz] as defense minister.
