By JPOST.COM STAFFAl-Arabiya reported on Friday that according to Swiss sources, Swiss government officials were mediating between Israel and Hamas in indirect negotiations concerning a 10-year ceasefire and prisoner exchange.
The report stated that under the ceasefire terms, Hamas will prevent the launch of surface-to-surface missiles from the Gaza Strip, while Israel would halt the assassinations of top Hamas leaders.
The report, quoted by Army Radio was not confirmed by any of the parties involved.
