Three Palestinian terrorists were wounded Wednesday morning as they tried to fire homemade rockets toward Israel, Palestinian security officials said.
The rockets prematurely exploded before they were launched, the officials said. The terrorists were identified as members of the Popular Resistance Committees, a small group that has carried out numerous rocket attacks in the past. There were no details on the extent of their injuries.
The IDF denied involvement in the incident. Earlier, IDF artillery shelled suspected rocket-launching areas in northern Gaza in response to rocket fire.
