Rice prolongs stay in Israel to secure Rafah deal

US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice delayed her departure from the Middle East to Asia Monday, in order to keep on working towards an agreement on the Rafah border crossings. A spokesperson for Rice said that she will head off to Jordan tomorrow in light of the recent terror attack. After her short trip to Jordan she will return to Jerusalem, Israel Radio reported.
