Rose's murderer will be brought to justice, police commissioner vows

The killer of four-year-old Rose Pizem, will be brought to justice, Police Commissioner Insp.-Gen. Dudi Cohen vowed on Wednesday, as another day of police searches for Rose's body from Tel Aviv's Yarkon river to areas south of Netanya found nothing. Ronnie Ron has confessed to police that he killed Rose, claiming he struck her in a fit of violent rage, and dumping her body in a suitcase into the Yarkon river three months ago. Police suspect he is misleading them over the location of Rose's body. Cohen had attending a briefing on the status of the searches together with police central district chief Cmdr. Nissim Moor. "The searches are... seeing all of the necessary actions being carried out. The main effort continues to be locating the girl's body. We believe she has been murdered," Cohen said. "Those involved will be brought to justice," he added. Police say search efforts will continue on Thursday.
