Schools throughout the country will hold regular classes on Sunday, the Secondary School Teachers Organization announced on Saturday night. However, the teachers refused to participate in extracurricular activities. They also canceled remedial classes for learning-disabled students. Army Radio reported that the teachers planned to hold a long-term strike after the holidays if significant progress was not made on their salary agreements.
