Sderot residents took their protest against the government's inaction against Kassam rocket attacks to the heart of the country on Monday, parking buses on the northbound Ayalon Highway, effectively shutting it down.
Police were holding back, hoping to send in representatives to try to talk the demonstrators off the highway, Israel Radio reported.
