Several youths injured in accidents around the country

A little girl falls 2.5 meters at her family home; an 11-year-old girls suffer a serious fall while horseback riding and a 23-year-old drops dead at home.

Saturday was a dangerous day for the young, as children around the country were involved in serious accidents.
In the Golan a five-year-old girl from Majdal Shams suffered a gash to her head and was brought by her parents to Ziv Hospital in Safed. Her parents told the hospital workers that their daughter had fallen from a height of 2.5 meters at their home.

Near the center of the country an 11-year-old girl was hospitalized in serious condition on after a horse-riding accident.  According to accounts, the girl fell from a horse she was riding between Givat Nili and Givat Eda in the Sharon region and was struck in the head during the fall, knocking her unconcsious.
A Magen David Adom crew evacuated the girl by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
In the West Bank, a six-year-old boy was seriously hurt in the village of Zatra (near Tapuah) after his foot was caught in an olive harvester.
A Magen David Adom crew brought the child to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital to be treated.
But the only fatal story came from the Galilee region, where a 23-year-old from the village of Sajur was found dead at his home by family members on Saturday.
Police report there is no suspicion of foul play and that the young man appears to have died from natural causes, possibly a heart attack.
