The Knesset Labor, Welfare, and Health Committee voted on Tuesday to remove Pensioners MK Moshe Sharoni from his position as committee chair and replace him with MK Yitzhak Galanti (Pensioners).
The change passed in a vote of 9:3.
Sharoni was reportedly removed from the committee chairmanship over his attempts to pass a law increasing pensions.
