Shots were fired at IDF troops operating in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus early Saturday morning. None of the troops were wounded and no damage was reported.
In Ramallah, soldiers conducting overnight arrests apprehended three fugitives. An M-16 rifle was discovered during a search of the hiding place of one of the fugitives.
On Friday evening, soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians who were crawling near the security fence separating the Gaza Strip from Israel on Friday night, apparently planting an explosive device, the army said.
Elsewhere, troops patrolling Israel's border with Lebanon on Friday night identified two men trying to infiltrate Israel. The patrol opened fire and wounded one of the men, while the second escaped.
The wounded man was taken into custody and transferred to a medical facility for treatment. A large bag in his possession contained an unspecified type of illegal narcotic, Channel 10 reported.
The incident took place in Ghajar, a town divided by the Israel-Lebanon border.
