A solar eclipse, which occurs about every 18 months, is expected to pass over Israel Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:00 p.m. The moon will blot out some 85 percent of the sun, but looking directly at the solar-lunar phenomenon is very dangerous, even for a few seconds.
