Soldier claims weapon stolen while hitchhiking

An IDF soldier who was found shot at Hirshim Junction in northern Israel on Wednesday claimed that he had been hitchhiking and subsequently attacked by the car's drivers, who shot him in his left leg and escaped with his gun. The soldier was evacuated to the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya, and police were searching for the suspects' car.
