Electric usage in Israel is at an all-time high due to a continuing heat wave, the Israel Electric Company reported Tuesday.
A usage level of 9,400 megawatts was reached on Tuesday afternoon, breaking the record for the third day in a row. The maximum capacity is 10,100 megawatts.
The Electric Company recommended that consumers refrain from using large appliances during peak hours.
