Former England National soccer team coach, Sven Goran Eriksson, visited the southern Israeli town of Kiryat Gat on Sunday and participated in a training session for Israeli and Palestinian children. Eriksson took part in the event, along with 120 Israeli and Palestinian 6-13-year olds, under the auspices of the Peres Center for Peace. "The Peres Peace Center is doing important work in promoting a message of peace through soccer for Israeli and Palestinian children," said Eriksson. "I am happy be a part of this message and proud to contribute the [Peres] Center's activities."
