By JPOST.COM STAFF
The Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday handed down a life sentence to Basal Abu-Dahal, who was convicted of the 2006 murder of his sister Mariam Abu-Hubizi.
Abu-Dahal stabbed his sister 29 times in the parking lot of Ramle's Bank Hapoalim.
In court, Abu-Dahal claimed that he killed his sister because she had desecrated the family honor, and added that he suffers from mental problems.
The court rejected his appeal against the life sentence.
