Taiba man convicted of manslaughter for killing couple in road accident

The Tel Aviv District Court on Wednesday convicted a 49-year-old driver from Taiba of manslaughter for killing a couple in a road accident in March 2007.
According to the conviction, the driver, Auni Jabara, ran a red light at Kohav Yair junction and slammed into a car in which Nina and Menahem Wessler were traveling with their three children, who were injured in the accident.
