Tamir expresses deep appreciation for Sapir College students

Education Minister Yuli Tamir visited Sderot's Sapir College with President Shimon Peres on Thursday. Tamir said that students learning at the college would continue to get grants and that subsidies for rent and living expenses would be given to students residing in Sderot and the Gaza belt. The assistance amounts to more than 20 million shekels.
Tamir expressed her deep appreciations for Sapir College students and said that the college had a central role in the Negev and that there was a huge importance in bolstering studies there and providing real assistance to students.
