Police carefully checked a taxi cab on Monday morning after the driver said he had hit the panic button after giving a ride to a suspicious-looking Palestinian man. Police officers stopped the taxi at the Bar Ilan interchange, and a sapper examined the car. As a result, the south-bound Geha-Petah Tikva junction was closed to traffic, as were the Morasha junction, the Mesubim junction and Jabotinski St. The roads were reopened shortly afterwards.
