Teachers cancel Monday's central region strikes

The Secondary School Teachers Association has cancelled strikes planned for Monday at high schools in the central region, teachers announced Sunday afternoon. The association has agreed to halt strikes for the next six days. The teachers have been intermittently shutting down schools in different districts in protest of delays in salary agreements.
