Teachers to get almost double pay for more hours

According to reforms in the Education Ministry published Thursday, some teachers will get almost double their salary for extra hours, Channel 2 news reported. New teachers get paid NIS 2,800 for 32 hours a week, however the reforms will ensure that they receive NIS 5,500 for 36 weekly hours. A veteran teacher, with at least 15 years experience, will get an increase of NIS 4,300 on his NIS 7,200 a month salary for the extra hours.
