Tel Aviv student stabbed in fight near high school

A 17 year-old student from the Max Payne high school in Tel Aviv was stabbed during a fight near the school Thursday afternoon, the Tel Aviv District Police reported. The teenager was evacuated to Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv suffering from light wounds, according to the report. Police said patrol units detained two suspects believed to have been involved in the stabbing, which occurred during an altercation at 13:00 Thursday on Menacem Begin Street. The two suspects were not students at the school, the statement said. The circumstances leading up to the attack were being investigated.
