Thief demands NIS 50,000 ransom for general's car

One of three men who stole OC Northern Command Maj.-Gen. Gadi Eizencott's car telephoned the general's driver Saturday and demanded a NIS 50,000 ransom for the vehicle. The men stole the car at gunpoint Friday night in Hod Hasharon. The army said that there were no classified documents in the vehicle and added that the incident was being investigated.
