Third suspect in pain clinic professor's murder arrested

Police arrested a third suspect in the murder of Professor David Niv, director of the pain clinic at Tel Aviv's Sourasky Medical Center, on Sunday morning. The suspect, aged 30 and a resident of Ramle, has a criminal record, police said. Two other suspects, Selim al-Baz of Kfar Kassem and Imad Mugrabi of Ramle, were arrested last week on suspicion of involvement in the murder. Niv was killed on February 6, 2007 while driving home on the Aluf Sadeh Highway in Ramat Gan.
