Three Palestinian terror organizations, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Resistance Committees, and the Fatah Mujaheedin Brigades are claiming responsibility for an attack carried out in southern Israel near the Gaza Border. The Israeli army says Palestinian militants infiltrated southern Israel and killed two Israeli civilians before fleeing back to the Gaza Strip. The army says at least four attackers carried out the attack. Israeli media say the army chased the attackers into Gaza and killed one of them.
