In a further escalation of the conflict between security forces and settlers in the disputed Hebron market area, three residents were arrested Saturday evening under suspicion of creating a public disturbance and attacking IDF troops.
The arrests followed a tumultuous weekend, in which hundreds of settlers confronted security forces in the streets of Hebron. During the struggle, an IDF soldier was injured in his eye by a stone thrown by a protester.
