Tibi says Annapolis will be a 'non-event'

The US-sponsored Annapolis peace parley will be a "non-event" because it won't spark negotiations or any historic declaration, MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL) said Wednesday. Tibi told Israel Radio that the Annapolis conference wouldn't engender any change to the current political reality, and that it appeared that Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Industry, Trade, and Labor Minister Eli Yishai were "stronger than [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert or [Vice Premier Haim] Ramon."
