A 45-year-old Israeli motorist ran over a Jerusalem traffic cop on Wednesday after she ordered him to stop his vehicle for driving dangerously.
The driver had 48 past traffic convictions, police said.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot, leaving his keys in the car.
The motorist was arrested by police after he returned to the vehicle, at which time he cursed out the policewoman, who was evacuated by co-officers for medical treatment.
