A military reserve force shot a terror suspect who had tried to evade arrest at a Nablus checkpoint on Thursday afternoon.
Soldiers identified the man as a wanted suspect after looking at his ID card when he arrived at the checkpoint. Upon realizing he had been recognized the man attempted to flee the scene.
The reservists called out to the man to stop, fired warning shots into the air and then finally at his body, as is army protocol.
IDF troops treated the fugitive, who had been shot in the stomach and hand, at the scene before evacuating him to an Israeli hospital.
