Twenty injured in hotel fire at the Dead Sea

Twenty people were lightly injured from smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at the Dead Sea's Meridian Hotel on Friday evening. Flames erupted on the 17th floor after a mattress caught fire for an unknown reason. Magen David Adom members treated the victims at the scene.
