At the entrance to the Negev city of Rahat, a deadly car accident occurred on the road leading to the community of Rahavim when a vehicle crashed head-on into the side of another vehicle.
Two children were killed. Seven were severely injured, among them a child, and another five were in light-to-moderate condition, among them three children. They were evacuated to Beeersheba's Soroka Medical Center.
Traffic collision inspectors were en route to the scene.
