US watchdog says NASA press office 'marginalized' global warming studies

A US government watchdog says NASA's press office "marginalized, or mischaracterized" studies on global warming between 2004 and 2006.
The NASA inspector general's report called it "inappropriate political interference."
The report issued Monday found that the agency's top management was not part of censorship, nor were career officials. It blamed "political appointees."
