Vandals torch car of Beduin community leader in Negev

Vandals torched the car of community leader Sanna Elbaz in the Beduin village Tel Sheva in the Negev, police said Friday.
Elbaz, who lives in Beersheba, is director of the only community centers organization in the Beduin sector, and works to improve Beduin schools.
She lit a torch at Wednesday night's Independence Day ceremony on Mount Herzl.
Israel Radio reported that the vandals also tried to set alight Elbaz's daughter who was in the car. She was unharmed.
