Vilna'i mulls quitting Labor race

Minister Matan Vilna'i is mulling removing himself from the race for the Labor party chairmanship. Party officials estimated on Sunday morning that the chances that Vilna'i would quit were high. Vilna'i has been under heavy pressure to remove his candidacy as it is thought that such a move would significantly improve the chances of Shimon Peres to defeat his main rival, MK Amir Peretz.
