A tourist visiting Israel from Staten Island, New York saved a stranger's life in downtown Jerusalem on Friday.
According to a volunteer police officer who arrived at the scene, Dr. Dennis Bloomfield - cardiologist - performed CPR on a man who collapsed in the middle of the Ben Yehuda Promenade.
Bloomfield has visited Israel many times before.
