WIZO has raised $1m. to support Sderot's 550 teachers.
In a meeting this week between WIZO and the Education Ministry, it was decided to initiate a program of weekend getaways for teachers and their families.
In addition, special therapeutic corners will be set up in schools and psychologists will be made available to talk to the teachers.
The pilot program will be launched in the next two months and run for a year.
