Wife beats drunken husband on head with hammer

A 46-year-old Israeli woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly beating her husband on the head with a hammer after he came home drunk and tried to force himself on her, police said. The man, who was lightly wounded in the incident, was evacauted to Hadassah-University Hospital at Ein Kerem. His wife told police that he "had it coming," Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. There were no previous reports of domestic violence between the two, police said.
