A 26-year-old Afula woman was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of smuggling drugs to one of the prisoners at the Tiberias police station - in a sandwich. According to police, the woman came to the station and asked the officer on duty if she could give one of the prisoners the home-made sandwich she had brought with her. Upon inspection, however, the officer found that the sandwich contained drugs, and arrested the woman on the spot. A search of her car revealed additional stashes. She was released on bail following her interrogation.
