A woman who barricaded herself and her four children in her Kiryat Yam apartment on Sunday agreed to let police enter the home.
The woman had threatened to set fire to the apartment in protest over promises made to her by the organization that subsidizes her housing.
According to police, the family was known to local authorities and had shut themselves inside on previous occasions. The family's case has been transferred to the welfare authorities.
