A woman in her 40s was shot and killed in the Arab village of Jasser a-Zarka on Wednesday while she was on her way to work.
It was suspected that the motive for the killing was family honor, according to residents of the place.
Police were searching for the shooters, but were also concerned that riots would erupt in the village, and have deployed large forces that are already at the scene.
