The Knesset passed in its first reading a bill Tuesday that would allow women who have not undergone fertility treatment to donate eggs.
The bill, put forth by the Health Ministry, is meant to solve the shortage of eggs in Israel and prevent Israeli women from having to find eggs overseas.
