Military Intelligence head Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin began testifying on Tuesday morning before the Winograd Committee appointed to investigate the failures of last summer's war in Lebanon.
Yadlin was expected to be questioned on the intelligence assessments the army made at the time of the war.
Maj.-Gen. Udi Adam, who was OC Northern Command during the war, will testify later in the day.
