A year-old baby was in serious but stable condition Saturday evening after choking on a pretzel. The baby's parents, residents of Modi'in, called an ambulance and were instructed by the dispatcher on how to remove the obstruction from their son's esophagus.
MDA paramedics arrived later and evacuated the baby to Assaf Harofeh Hospital.
