"Ahmadinejad is the evil of our time," MK Yisrael Katz (Likud) told the Knesset at a special session on the Holocaust denial conference that opened Monday in Teheran. Ahmadinejad supports all the terror organizations that are fighting Israel, Katz continued, and by denying the Holocaust persecutes not only the living Zionist state, but the Jewish dead. "As the son of Holocaust survivors," Katz said, "I can attest to what happened." However, Katz said, Israel did not exist because of the Holocaust, but because it was the Jewish people's right to exist in a state of their own "for eternity."
