Young man stabbed, lightly wounded, in clash between Meron worshipers

A 30-year-old man from Yokneam suffered from light injuries after being stabbed in a fight that broke out between worshipers at Rabbi Shimon Bar-Yochai's grave site at Mount Meron. Allegedly, a group of men did not approve of the seating arrangement of a mixed group of men and women who arrived at the site to celebrate a three-year-old's birthday. A fight broke out between the groups, beginning with name-calling and stone hurling and ending with the stabbing. Police arrested a suspect holding a knife and pepper spray.
